AFC Stockport

From humble beginnings as a work team playing regular friendlies on Sunday nights, the AFC Stockport story began in earnest when the side finally made their debut in the Stockport & District Sunday Football League in 2008.

After building a large squad following successive title victories, the club expanded in 2010 to include a reserve side who also compete in the SDSFL as well as a ladies team that joined in the Cheshire Women’s & Girls Football League. Three teams, one club is the motto which we hope will build solid foundations for the future.

The 1st Team won the SDSFL Division 1 last season and the  Ladies Team won the Division 2 League Cup. A great achievement from the club as a whole in the 2011/12 season. This along with three pre-season trophies in the bag, made the 2011/12 the most successful in AFC’s short history.

As part of Leemic’s commitment to the club all monthly news letters and supporting documentation are produced saving the club in the region of £500.00 per season.
