Experienced Business Development MPS Specialist


The Role

We are recruiting for Experienced Business Development, MPS Specialist Sales Executives, in Stockport and Falkirk.

This role is mainly field based and you will actively seek out and develop new sales opportunities through networking, leads follow up, personal relationships and cold calling within your allocated area of responsibility.

You will cover a specific geographical territory. You will build and manage a sales pipeline with the goal of meeting and exceeding assigned targets.

Required Skills

  • Excel at developing new business relationships.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage own time
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of people (mainly MD’s, FD’s and CEO’s) and build a natural rapport
  • Solid influencing and negotiating skills
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office software
  • Proven experience as a sales executive or equivalent within the industry
  • A team player with a can-do attitude
  • Our ideal candidate will have a strong, solid background in sales within our industry and be able to demonstrate excellent product and commercial awareness.
