Three Huge Wins For Sharp At Annual BLI Awards
Sharp’s Three Huge Wins At BLI Awards
Things are going from strength-to-strength at Sharp and as one of their major partners we’re absolutely delighted to ride the coattails of this success (wink!).
Recently, Buyers Lab (BLI) chose the winners of its Summer 2018 Awards and Sharp has won in three categories. PaceSetter, Pick and Reliability.
This award comes from an in-depth analysis on tested Ease of Use functionality, focusing on features that directly relate to enterprise work habits and environments. Key areas of evaluation included Print, Copy, and Scan functions, as well as Job Management, Feedback, Control Panels, Loading Media, Misfeed Removal, and more.
Sharp Designs with End Users in Mind
Sharp was consistently strong in this study, thanks to a well-rounded set of features and functionality. Beyond the intuitive touch-screen functionality at the control panel, Sharp offers a standard integrated keyboard, making data entry at the MFP as fast as it would be at a computer. In addition to the keyboard, Sharp offers the ability to store preset messages, extensions, and domains as one-touch keys to combat common lags in scanning. The scan preview is easy to navigate and supports onscreen editing. As business process automation increases in popularity for enterprises, more and more employees are integrating scanning in their workflows—and they need to do so efficiently. At the control panel, Sharp also provides both Easy and Advanced menus to be sure inexperienced users aren’t overwhelmed with options while giving more experienced users granular controls. Sharp impresses with dynamic step-by-step guidance for user intervention via text, graphics, animation, and video, too.
Sharp Winners Excel with Intuitive Operation and Flexibility
“Sharp’s MX-M3570 and MX-M5070, which are designed to meet the needs of any mid-size to large workgroup, offer the reliability, ease of operation, speed, and flexibility users crave,” said Mikolay. “Thanks to the intuitive drivers and user interface, along with the innovative, award-winning web utility, building workflows is a cinch. The devices, which also include a standard retractable keyboard for streamlined data entry, a standard duplex single-pass feeder, and standard Sharp OSA to better manage workflow with network applications and cloud services, are a boon for users with more robust workflow needs.”
Sharp’s Intuitive Design Means Maximum Productivity for Mid-Size Workgroups
Buyers Lab analysts identified the Sharp MX-B455W as the ideal choice for mid-size workgroups in need of a monochrome MFP. “Despite its compact design, the MX-B455W delivers peak performance, robust scan functionality, and seamless integration with network applications and cloud services thanks to Sharp OSA, which comes standard,” said Maceri. “Plus intuitive drivers and a well-designed control panel simplify programming even the most complex tasks, helping to increase users’ productivity.”
This is a new BLI Award based on 5 years of hands-on test data and will be in place for 3 years
Sharp Monochrome Models Offer Impeccable Performance
In terms of monochrome reliability, Sharp was the clear choice. “All of the Sharp monochrome copiers we’ve tested to date have excelled when it comes to reliability,” said Joe Ellerman, Manager of U.S. Lab Operations for Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab. “Over the past five years, Sharp’s monochrome models have completed millions of impressions without a single service call, making them the most reliable choice among their peers.”
